Our Pledge: Web Sites should engage the user, provide up-to-date information about the site owner/company, and allow the site owner/company to control the site content.

Several years ago we discovered the DotNetNuke framework for hosting web sites. This framework allows for dynamic site content mainteannce in a format that most users can understand. Most pages are constructed from HTML/Text combinations, and the framework provides a word-processor like control to edit the content.

Content Management Systems like DotNetNuke provide the site owner/manager to control the content of the site without having to pay a programmer to make simple HTML changes.

6,000,000 downloads
400,000 production web sites
700,000 registered community members
A vast array of third party extensions
A properly designed site will allow the owner to keep it up to date and publish current information at will.

The free Community Edition runs hundreds of thousands of production web sites. The new Professional Edition 5.2 includes unique features designed for business-critical web sites.

Included below are some samples of the many web sites we have produced using the DotNetNuke platform. We also have created several custom controls, some of which we offer to the DotNetNuke communitity of developers through www.snowcovered.com.

We recently decided that some of the internal DotNetNuke approaches to Document Exposure were far too combersome for many commercial applications.

We decided to develop a Document Gallery module that would allow the page authors to simply publish files of certain types to specific folders. The Document Gallery would handle all of the sorting and display and linkage chores to get the documents available on the site.

No more dealing with the File Manager and DNN Database. Just publish the files and the control takes care of the rest.
